I've had this problem.

Just make sure you dry those carpets off properly, they will start to pong a bit if not.....
Oh and check the rear footwell as well, it flows back into there sometimes :y

O.M.G. that brings back memories  :o :o :o

Had exactly the same thing happen to me!!

Had a poke round with a long screwdriver till i eventually found the rubber bung at the bottom, wiggled the gromet & as the water poured out ended up with wet feet!!

But water settled again so this time i managed to push the gromet out (after cut & bruised hand!) and never had the problem again  :y

Mick is correct about the rear footwell cos mine was soaking wet as well as the front!! In a way your lucky its 'summer' cos u can leave all the windows slightly open to air the cabin. I had to pull up the carpets & using a spongue soak up all the water then put down 'Plenty' kitchen paper & change it every day till eventually it dried out! I also put down a plastic container filled with salt cos that helps draw in moisture  :y :y

Good luck & hope this helps  ;)
