engine problems

hi i have a 2.5 omega and just lately it has been cutting out every so often and some day wont even start and advice

First things first mate is doing a Paper Clip Test to see if you have any codes?
Then come back and tell what codes you have found.

do paper clip test
i had the same problem. mine came up with code 19.
 my crank shaft sensor was faulty if that helps  :)

hi that top light dont flash but the one with the lightning bolt through it does

That`s the one. Count the flashes then post `em up. As said, possibly crank sensor (19)

Those are the crank sensor mate and at a guess I would say you miscalculated the pulse of the flashes with the other codes. 1,4,5 is probably 1, 4+5=9=19 deffo crank sensor
