At present reading is 0.3 gal/h.

About right with aircon on....about 0.2 if aircon off

Air-con off for at lease 15 minuits. How do i get it back to 0.2gal/h from 0.3gal/h ?

don't worry about it & select another function ..... outside air temp is what's noramlly showing on mine ... less depressing than fuel consumption

is it in park or neutral.
mine shows 0.2 when in neut or park and 0.3 when idling in drive due to torque converter drag. just a thought.

sorry to sound daft but have you checked the air filter. cleaned the vacuum hoses etc.
could be a blockage.
