Re-setting airbag light?
« on: 28 July 2010, 15:33:56 »

Is this a tech 2 job or can anyone recommend an ebay obd that will fix this?

I replaced the ignition barrel and turned on ignition without the drivers airbag plugged in not realising this will keep the airbag light lit when put back together. My fault I know, should have dis-connected battery. I'm looking at getting a scanner though so this gives an excuse.

p.s. Forgot to mention it's a 'r' reg 2.5 elite.

You will find that ""My Naff Code Reader"s" or similar will reset the light,  it would probably cost more for stealer to reset than to buy one.  ::)

Yep, been looking into that one and will go that route. Will come in handy later on so seem the better investment.
