Ive just been looking through my Omegas service record and ive just noticed it had a predelivery inspection on the 13th Jan 1999 but wasn't delivered to Vauxhall Motors, Kimpton Road, Luton until 7th Jan 2000. Its been sitting around somewhere for a long time :(

1999 model, so from around Sept 1998 until stocks run out

Does the V5 say it was registered early 1999?

If so looks like its probably sat at a dealers (maybe a demonstrator or a directors car) for a while before being passed onto another dealer (see last paragraph).......no big deal really......

Dealers did and still do........if they are say 10 or 20 cars short of getting a nice big bonus (and it is a big bonus!)...for hitting yearly sales targets set by manu's.......will just order the cars to make their bonus........but they have to register them to make it look like they have made a sale  :y

Most likely thing that could have happened is..........omega was bought and registered by dealer to get his bonus.......then omega was up for sale on networkq........another dealer wanted it for a customer......so was transfered to that dealer  :y
