Barrel buggered/reinstall?
« on: 10 August 2010, 15:16:19 »

Been having problems with the barrel sticking so took it out last night and cleaned it up, despite the brass thingies appearing very worn and loose with the key in I went to refit it this morning but it wouldn't fit all the way in then bugger me the little release clip cracked and fell out.

I have a replacement barrel/key from a scrapper but am wondering if there is a particular technique to reinserting it that I am missing?

I presume the key was inserted and turned to position 1. This alows the spring clip to depress when re-inserting. Any other position and the clip is locked.  :y
