Rotting ball joints
« on: 25 October 2010, 08:58:18 »

For some reason  the drivers side ball joints have rotted. The rubber feels like its melted or been disolved. See below...

Does anyone know what would have caused this? I presume it's an MOT fail?

Blimey :o

Not unusual for rubbers to split though.

No choice but to replace the track rod ends...

Just ordered some new ball joints from Andy. They will be on the car by the end of the week. It's a pain as I will have to get the tracking done again.
