Hi!
Just been to Inverness (28 miles) and used 20 litres of petrol  the heating came on only on the passenger side and only lukewarm. I also noticed that the engine temp gauge never rose from zero. There is plenty of anti-freeze (new) Oh! and the outside temp today is -7c. Any ideas guys?? Thanks in cold anticipation.

I've been having the same trouble! I blocked off the whole of the front of the radiator & fan (2 on yours) by folding one of those silver backed screen covers to fit, so the freezing airflow through the front grille is blocked off totally & my car now gets up to normal temperature with lots of lovely heat in the cab & more importantly doesn't overheat! Some of the more knowledgeable members here said it was a duff thermostat & I will probably replace mine when the weather is better, but the car behaves itself perfectly well now & my MPG has actually improved! It may be worth your while giving it a try yourself but keep a sharp eye on your temperature gauge as the V6 lump will give off more heat than my 2.2 I would imagine? BTW, if you're only getting heat on the passenger side then the operating arm has probably popped off the drivers side motor cam. See here for more details:-
