Might be able to help you out with that one fella.

I bought one in the summer when I had to do an emergency sump removal, but ended up not needing it as the old one was fine to re-use.

I'll put up a piccy of it later, and you can decide whether you want it, or are willing to trust me that your original is probably OK to refit.

Edit: here's a pic that google found:
http://www.lmfvauxhall.co.uk/Sump-Baffle-Plate-with-Integral-Gasket-C20XE.html

It's basically a sheet-metal (think it's all metal, heavy anyway) pressing with a bonded-rubber gasket round the rim, both sides.  Well mine was/is.

Pretty sure intake and exhaust studs are the same, and cheap from Vx. And yes, the exhaust ones may snap, so take it steady with them. Intake side should be no problem.  Worth getting a full sets of new nuts too.

You'll need to lift the engine a few inches off its mounts to get the sump right off unfortunately.  The subframe is probably rather in the way of pot 3/4 stuff too... ::)

thanks mate will get new set later to day, do you know if the oil pipe in side engine just comes off or is locked in place, going to strip down engine to make it easyer to lift out, fly wheel will be the only problem with the weight of it  :y

Oil pick-up pipe is just 4 or 5 10mm/M6 bolts/nuts and it's off.

You can get that off without getting the sump completely off.
