Oil...
« on: 16 December 2010, 19:51:05 »

Guys

I just checked my oil level this afternoon, i routinely do it once a week. Ive got a bit of substance that looks like mayo in my oil cap.

Does this mean my exhaust is blowing somewhere?

How would....      .... No, and it's not head gasket, even if there is a coolant leak as well.

Don't worry about it, not an issue.  ;)

It'll be spark plug no7, it's a bugger to find and a pig to replace.

I suspect hearing it could be HG, the OP will want to sell it ::)

Then again, maybe he will suggest the failed HG is nothing more than short journeys and shite oil

Does it not mean your exhaust is blowing somewhere if you get a smear of mayo like substance in your oil cap? This is what I was told...
