beware of cheap discs  ;) they're generally cheap cos they're made cheaply and often run out of true in a relatively short time/distance. My cheap discs on my Senator years ago were from Brakes International (oop North) and ran out within about 3/4000 miles. OE discs on a Trade Club card are only around £100 inc pads  :y

Given the choice between driving with discs fitted that cost £7 each, or taking the bus, I know which one I would be doing.  :o

With all due respect, I fail to see why discs would be called "old stock"? It's not like they are a fashion item, (last seasons range), or a perishable item like bread or milk. Nor should they go rusty, protected as they are in that wax / grease like coating, or even like tyres which actually do have a shelf life.

I'm totally and utterly failing to see the point of this post. Do you work for Grays Motor Factors?  ::)
