« on: 29 December 2010, 09:37:04 »

Hi all, merry christmas.
i have been having trouble with the standard stereo cutting on and off and the lcd display of trip computer was also cutting on and off. so i thought it must be a loose connection somewhere, so i took out the old stereo fitted a new unit and all seemed fine, stereo now works display not cutting out but got in the car this morning now i have no heaters blowing hot or cold. all the controls are working just have no air coming out. anyone had this before or know what it may be??? many thanks Andy c.  :'(

The obvious thing is what have you disturbed in fitting new radio...  ...retrace your steps - esp connectors into back of climate unit

dont know whether connected, but got in mine the otherday when still sub zero temperatures and fans wouldn't blow at all  :( you could hear them trying to start but nothing coming out, after a few miles tried again and everything worked as should do, could only put it down to slight thaw and somehow water got to the fans and froze them  :-?
