eml light
« on: 03 January 2011, 12:27:03 »

Last night started car as normal and it cut out straight away. Tried to start it again and nothing cranking but not starting. Tried again and it started but the eml light was on does that sound like a crank sensor or is it something else. Tried to do paperclip test but no codes are flashing just the light comes on and goes straight out even though I've done the test before your help would be of much help thank you ian :)

No - a 2.0l will start with knackered crank sensor

I'd look at basics - fuel and sparks
