With it running are the radiator pipes getting rock hard to the point where you can't squeeze them? Can you smell fuel in the expansion bottle?

That'll do me! Rearmost waterway to pot 4 has failed. So yes, you need to get the headgasket done :(

No need to scrap it, easy enough to repair. It seems to be head gasket month as I seem to be doing just these at the moment! Have you got breakdown cover?

Top the coolant up in the morning, set off, breakdown ( ;) ) and get recovered to your destination (I.E. my place)!

I'm at work tomorrow but I'll be home between 11:00 and 14:00. Nab the train/national express home again and train/national express back down Thursday and drive home :y
