Clueless .. a couple of "ideas" for you ..

If you want to trog over to the Swindon area I can certainly give it a look, and the drive along the motorway will probably clear most of the mayo anyway ... or you can get many opinions if you attend the "meet" planned for Farnborough

I'm also willing to help you do the cam cover gaskets, but I don't have garage access so would need a decent weather day. Gaskets could probably be done at the meet quite easily.

Many thanks for your generous offer. I'll try to get to the meet that you mentioned, in the meantime I can give the car a longer run to see if the mayo disappears or not!
