How do I know/see a leaking water pump
« on: 04 February 2011, 10:48:22 »

What to look for? Papers say that it's been replaced last year / less than 20 000 km ago and I suspect it might leak, been loosing some water and it's not HBV, nor oil cooler, nor any of the hoses. The plastic "tray" in front of the engine it's a bit wet but might as well be oil and some splashed water, doesn't taste like coolant. Is it too bad to replace? Cambelt cover off, pump bolts off, new pump in and cover back on? Still, I have heard it would be 2,2 hour job at the dealers...  :-?
