simple question here

what happens if i take the battery off my omega elite 3.0L V6, because i heard somewhere that u need to reset the immobiliser ect... just wanting to know because i need to charge it and ive tried whilst on the car, but i think it uses so much power that its sucking what i put in the battery straight out, cheers for any help, marcus

Nope everything is simple and easily done.
For windows just hold the switch when it closes, same for sunroof I think, for radio check the manual

kwl, i got the radio code, easy job, just windows i was worried about, cheers guys for the help, ill get get the battery off and get it charged :)

it tell you in the owners manual.  ;)
it also tells you howto disconnect it without the alarm from going off.  ;)  ;)  ;)

:L the alarm didnt go off, so its all good, another question while im here, im gettin a buzz from a speaker thats be put in by a previos owner, what would cause that, im thinkin bad earth?

DaveDND probably has more answers than me, but as your car is an Elite, does it have a Bose radio? If so Bose speakers are different from most aftermarket speakers.

no, its a phillips, also has a aftermarket phillips 6 cd changer

What age/plate is your Elite? Philips was factory fit once upon a time.  :y

its on a private plate now, but i think its a 1993 if i remember :L so the cd changer is deffo aftermarket

1993, one of the very first then! Actually Philips was standard factory fit, Bose was only installed post 1998 in the Mini-Facelift  :y
