Program Remote Keys

Hello,

When i buy the Omega i receipt two remote keys, but nothing of these two works.

I do the inigtion procedure but doesnt work.

I buy anothers remote Keys with the same failure.

I buyed a "My Naff Code Reader" and i tried to program the remote keys, but when i push the button of the remote keys, the key dont change the status inside "My Naff Code Reader", and dont work's...

Anybody has any idea???

were are you as some one near to your area maybe able to help, have you got the pass code for the omega as sure you need it to do new code for the keys... think there is away of testing keys with a camara but dont know if it works on newer omegas, any way some one in the know will help you.

Battery / battery holder in fob? Switches known to fail also.

Is you remote equipped with red led ? Can you see red light when you press any button ?

I had the same, turned out to be nothing more than the buttons inside being U/S - replaced the buttons and presto.

I get the feeling your not based in the UK, so access to Tech2 is going to be an issue.

To program the keys you need the carpass, which is a credit card sized bit of paper with car details on it, and a program session with tech2.

As others have mentioned, do you see a red LED when button is pressed? Its between the lock & unlock buttons.

Why was the car supplied with no working keys?

Beware programming keys with that piece of junk "My Naff Code Reader" - it has been known to corrupt the Alarm ECU.

Actually there was an Opel 2.2DTi....  ...can't remember which territories got it...

Please Excuse me,

Dont work the remote central control, the car start with a key, witout problems

i'm waiting to receive a second blade with transponder to progame, i have the carpass.

I chack that i have kierchit ECU, but all remote key that i have be megamos...

I bought in ebay a Megamos ECU i will to change and try to program the remote control to check...

I'm from Spain, my car is a 2.2DTI Opel, and i live in South Europe... ;)
