Dead Climate Panel.
« on: 06 March 2011, 17:47:13 »

Took the 2.0 LPG (2000 W FL) out for its Battery top up spin last week and noticed the Climate Panel was totally dead but playing with it I could switch it back on or off only using the Auto Button,  adding to the do list, last night same deal but now totally dead nothing works, kind of ruled out lack off power to it because of the on/off Auto Button even though that’s doing nothing now.

Tried doing the 2 button reset etc and the ‘give a thump test’, dead, so thinking new panel required before I start taken things to bits, anything else I should be checking, before a rip out?

Check your fuses, there area a couple of feeds to the climate panel.

In fact, given you could get it to do something by pressing auto suggests its the switched live missing as pressing auto with the engine temp warm and the ignition off puts it into the residual heat mode.
