one for Tunnie
« on: 09 March 2011, 10:35:43 »

Tunnie a short question if you can help.
Do you know where the timing belt kit for 2.2 petrol can be bought (didn't find anything on ebay) and what is the price?
Thanks in advance

I've always bought from the dealer, mainly because it was just up the road from my parents.

I've no idea what I paid last time either, not got my invoices with me in London  :(

Make sure you replace the waterpump as well, I know you can change it every other time, but I always change it with every belt.

In total I *think* i paid around £120? Could be wrong though, big chunk of that was a new waterpump, which was £45 odd, it was a lot cheaper than the V6 water pumps.

Maybe someone with a new TC book can confirm price?

ahh its no 'kit' for the 4 pots, just a plastic wedge.

Its this:

I've not bought from them, just a quick Google. Not sure in Croatia but any Motor factors should stock them. They are the same as 2.0 engine, which is also in Vectra  :y
