important topics cover nearly half of the chat section..

And the threads very quickly run to the second, third page..

is it possible to take important topics to a seperate section or make the chat list longer :-/

Was thinking the same myself. Too many "stickies"?

At least this forum doesn't insist on diplaying them at the top of every page, unlike others...

As most of them currently relate to merchandise maybe we should have an "OOF merchandise" area? After all, it's not every day you need a new tax disk holder, great though they are :y

not a bad idea there, maybe having a "sticky" board

however i'm sure the admins see it that practically everyone looks at the general chat section, thus making it the most prominent location for important threads, and maybe that if there was a "sticky" board for important threads, not many people would bother to view it

FWIW ... I think a "merchandise" section in "forum related" area is not such a bad idea, I know its not open to vote ... admin's rule ... but it would move quite a few of those stickies ......
