irmscher wheels

hi,is it possible to fit wheels with 235 45 17 to 2000 w reg 2.5 td,cd estate with causing rubbing ,or will i need to change springs .

If you're on Irmscher Wheels (are they the Pre-facelift MV6 ones - just seen you drive an MV6) then no problem, I used exactly this set up after having dropped the car.
Shouldn't be a problem.
(Look at my avatar - that pic shows 235/45/17 rubber on the Ill suited Pre-facelift MV6  Irmscher wheel)
What sort of Irmscher wheels are they? S/Stars?

Any standard Omega wheel will fit any other Omega.

Those prefacelift MV6 wheels are lovely to look at (until the corrosion gets to them) but soft as french cheese.  They only need to sniff a pothole and they're buckled....
