Replacing the rear wing.
« on: 18 May 2011, 11:50:05 »

Had a little accident with the car. (someone ran in to the back of it)  Damage looks to be localised to new rear bumper and rear n/s wing.   If this was a front wing it'd be easy and bolt on, but the rear is a little more complicated.
Has anyone tackled this and got any guidelines to how I would go about replacing this?

Thanks.

You may get a pro to do it. It has to be welded perfect and the welds sanded out and filled and all sorts.  Just get a new quarterpanel is only way to fix it. Take it to a legit body shop, because you probably cant weld/body work and at least there they know what anti-corrosion measures to take

Its probably less work to knock the dent out, and fill than replace it.
