tyre advice

Bought a set of 18"alloys a few months ago.Fitted them on.Puncture today.Took wheel off.Inside wall and tread separated all the way round.Marangoni 245.40.18.tyre.Still another one on the car.So 2 to change.Any advice on tyres to get?

Tyres are a personal choice and driving style/expectations make a huge difference ;)

Do a quick search through the forum and you'll find plenty of threads about Tyres :y

Why has the tyre failed that way? Is what concerns me!

Marangoni not a make I would buy (think its a cheap tyre?) Normally stick to better brands.Too much Chinese crap on the market.

Omega is renowned for incorrect camber setting. Resulting in uneven ware across the tread, and in some cases this can cause a blowout or failure as the wear rips through the inside shoulder of the tyre.

If not corrected any new tyre/s may very well go the same way...

...hopefully this is not the case and the tyre has just failed with no other car related influences.

 Also hope the incident was not too dramatic....?

marangoni are perllis budget brand.and there not a bad tyre

Other marangoni (chitalian) looks fine.Best get camber and tracking checked.
