3.0 Throttle body vs 3.2
« on: 24 May 2011, 16:45:26 »

Hi,

Is there any difference between the 3.2 Throttle Body and the 3.0 Throttle body?

Would there be any benefit fitting a 3.2 TB and 3.2 Plenum to a 3.0?

IIRC 3.2 body is different as it`s a DBW throttle and I don`t think the TPS is a separate item unlike the 3.0

Aside from the fact that the 3.2 throttle body is drive-by-wire and not compatible with the engine management on the 3.0; no. There would be no benefit in swapping them if you could.

Same with the plenum. 3.2 plenum is identical, except that you can't mount the EGR and ICV, so it wouldn't work.
