Exhaust for Omega saloon
« on: 24 May 2011, 21:34:12 »

Hi Guys - new member in need of help. Got an aging Omega (almost 200k) but still some life in it. need an exhaust to see me through to July when MOt may well mean end of life for the most comfortable car I have ever driven.

I need an exhaust (Middle + Back sections) for a 2.2 petrol CDX saloon.

anyone know where I might get one?

Also does anyone know if a VAUXHALL OMEGA 2.5/3.0LTR V6 EXHAUST SYSTEM will fit a 2.2 petrol CDX saloon

I needed a cat for my 2.2CDX and found Eurocarparts  to be the cheapest...

Phone a local branch, then ask if they can do any better on the price...  Then phone another branch and do the same thing...

I've got 4 or 5 branches all kinda local and each one quoted a different price...

I got my cat for about £160 all in I think...  2 year guarantee and type certified...

Believe it or not...Vauxhall Bosal OEM was £1000... :- ;D

You were right Lazydocker.I asked a Kwik fit fitter who checked it out - the connections are different and it couldn't be altered to fit.

Anyone else know where I might get a CDX 2.2 petrol saloon saloon exhaust?  Middle and back sections needed.

Stick one from a 2.0ltr on, brackets are the same. Cheaper and only one centre box to worry about :)

I've got a 'Powerflow' stainless steel cat back system for a 2.2 going spare.  It's not a loud system, more of a sporty sound, if your interested? ;)

If all else fails, give Millfield Auto's in Peterborough a shout, they are normally quite decent on price....
