angle starting(or not)
« on: 14 June 2011, 22:50:02 »

Hi all last Sunday i parked on the side of a hill(sideways) so the car was maybe 10-15 degrees over to the left, i was there for a few hours and upon my return the car would hardly start, couldn't give it gas or it would stall a couple of mis-fires, it had maybe a quarter tank in it so i thought can't be that! managed to get the car facing up the hill and then she started fine and drove off like nothing happened (albeit it the fuel light flashing at me for the first couple of minutes, can it really be that the fuel wasn't getting to the lines, anyone else had similar problems?

:D Sounds like you have answered your own quetion....
Could it be that there is something in the tank that is floating about and the incline just happened to cause it to block the intake? Dunno, but it might just be likely.......stranger things have been known to happen. ;)
