Omega elite 2.2 dti. Brake seized
« on: 10 June 2011, 12:48:21 »

Hi. My brakes were only working on one side so said ill buy discs and pads( Bosch) when fitting I notce the housing that allowes the pads to move in and out. Not caliper it's separate, well one of the runners is seizes so the pads can't move. What it is i want to know is it the same part for petrol diesel models or should I be carfull for wrong ones? I'm bringing the old part and will get both sides if i can. Thanks!

All Omega FRONT brake components are the same across the range/years, except the pre 1998 2.0l, which used a smaller disc/pad/caliper.

...and note that DTi rears are solid discs + associated pads unlike the V6 vented versions.
