Oil drain plug
« on: 27 June 2011, 11:19:20 »

I have a large bolt as my drain plug (2.5 petrol) and wondered if it is better to switch to one with a torx head when i next change the oil? Is it just a straight swap and if so does anyone know what size the torx is please?

Thanks

Yours should be the torx type. The bolt was from the early omegas ;)

Yes, straight swap, I just buy new from Vaux.

they all get mashed over time, so not uncommon to find either type on either car.
