Auto box oil seal.

 :-? Hi, My oil seal leaking on my 2000 v6 Omega Auto box, no one seems to stock them, and forget the dealers "none stock item" most of the parts people on the net have none in stock also. There are two seals on the auto box the one I need is at the side by the selecter , Can any one help.

Hi
If you can see the reference number on the seal, google it, that may find you a supplier.  If you cannot see the reference number then measure the seal and then google "oil seal suppliers" to find a local or mail order source and tell them the size.

Elite now gone.  Bought an X-Type 4x4.  If there had been an Omega 4x4 I would have bought that instead.  We really liked the Omega, but I wanted 4x4.

Selector shaft oil seal is 8644709. Available from Vauxhalls at £2.23 + VAT

Your dealer can order one for you either over night on a VOR basis, don't expect any discount though or on a stock order which would take three days

Get stuck then give us a shout
