rocker cover

when doing the rocker covers.on the pass side the air con pipe is in the way. is it possible to remove without damage or just get it out of the way so i can replace the cover.

Just lift it & the wiring loom out of the way and tie it out of the way while you do the gasket, removal would need the a/c de-gassing. I nicked Entwood's idea, and tied  it to the bonnet strut fitting.  :y :y :y

rocker gaskets aren't as difficult as it made out. Just be methodical, and make sure the D on the gasket sits corerectly in the cut out at the back of the head. Use black goo where applic & don't swing off the securing bolts - 8Nm is little more than a nip
