central locking
« on: 14 September 2011, 11:42:09 »

hi all
my central locking on the passenger front as stopped working correctly , it only moves slightly up or down when operated but it ok when you do it manually
does this mean it just needs a spot of oil or is it time for a change
thanks

Possibly. Try something like chain lube that is 'sticky' & won't run off but is reasonably penetrating.

No idea about part numbers but as far as I know, the fronts are both the same & the rears are both the same. And no difference between preface lift or face lift.

RobG will have a picture soon to confirm!  ::) ::) ::)

:P
Fronts are same on MFL & FL as are the rears. Pre-MFL are different. Pic of mfl/fl. Fronts end in 702, rears 703.

They can be repaired cheaply and easily if you can use a soldering iron. http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1275155915  :y
