Powersounder Replacement
« on: 21 September 2011, 20:43:30 »

I have removed the powersounder, will be replacing the batteries with the new ones that arrived today.
I think I have read somewhere that the ignition should be switched on when replacing the unit so that it marries up to the car.

Can any member let me know if this is so?

I disconnected mine with the ignition on in order to persuade it not to trigger.  But I reconnected it with no key in the car.  It beeped once for a split second - that's all.  Mind you it seemed quite loud at the time because I wasn't expecting it.   :o

I don't think it's critical either way.

I removed mine and then bludgeoned it to death with a large hammer. Silence is golden..... :y

So that's where Sammy is!

Does Sammy know where the Crocs are?
