Sat-Nav what do I need?
« on: 15 February 2008, 16:13:30 »

Hi,

I have a 1999 (pre face lift) MV6 estate 3.0. It currently does not have sat-nav installed, I was wondering what bits I would need (what screen etc.).

Cheers,

Rob.

To be honest, its a very old system, slow, no map display (pictorial only), clunky to use.  You'd be better off with a portable unit.

IF you've set your heart on one, you need screen, CD unit, GPS receiver, speaker, control button, and looms.

Before you go to that extent, ask a nearby member with a Carin if you can have a look at theirs for you expend time, effort and money.
