One Eyed Omega
« on: 05 March 2008, 00:26:46 »

Hi All
Hope someone can help. Have searched for this but cannot find.
When I unlock my 98 td elite with the remote key only the passenger side indicator flashes. It is the same when I lock it. I notice in some previous threads people talk of relays for flashing the indicators when alarm is going off. Is this the same unit that flashes the indicators when you lock and unlock the car with the buttons on the key? If so where would I find it to replace it? Or is it anything else?

Hazzard switch on and off twenty times.

That should fix it.

Yes it is the same unit.

Its behind the glove box....three relays in a line, the one on the right.

Thanks very much for the info. Tried the hazard switch fix but
made no difference. Can you get to the relays or do you have to remove the glove box? Is it the same unit as the one for the hazard flashers as all flasher lamps flash when hazards switched on.
