Climate Bulbs
« on: 06 September 2008, 14:00:39 »

Had the right Numerical bulb go a while back.

Used the car for the 1st time in ages last night. Left hand Number display still works but goes off completly when side lights are turned on.  Any idea's on the problem?

Also with temp set to 20 I noticed the engine bay noises were louder as if the air con was on, turn the heating off goes all quiet, turn on again, noisy again.  Is this normal?

TIA  :y

Am also thinking back to when I bought the car, whilst I was playing like a new kid with all the gadgets, the aircon was on full, hazzars going, tested all switches to see if they illuminted.  Both temp displays worked at the time.  But I also switched the heated seats on and blew the fuse  for the climate.

Checking over the car since I have found a couple the same colour fuses that had blown in the centre console.  Seems it may have happended before.  Also one the the switches has been replaced (cant remeber which one).

Are there any common faults to look out for on the climate, or could I be looking for something that is causing the temp light to go out when the side lights are switched on.

TIA.  :y
