wiring diagrams / schematics for omega 2.5 td 1999

i am looking for a wiring diagram / schematic for the engine electronics for a 1999 omega 2.5 td.
currently trying to fit the engine into a BOWLER type racer !!!
any experts care to add there knowledge?

td engine wiring covered by the haynes book of lies. the engine itself isn't covered in book though.

before i blow more £££'s how in-depth does it go? ll ecu/ecm pinouts included?

Its simply a wiring diag. Pin numbers are included, but not connector pinouts.

sorted the pinout for the ecu  :o

next issue is the immobiliser !! pin 29 on the ecu, does anyone know what happens on pin 29 when the engine is running ? grounded or 5v+ or 12v+ ? or data?

what circuits in the ecu are controlled by the imobiliser line? starter? fuel liftpump? fuel distributor pump?

1999 TD will expect a code from immobiliser ECU - seeing as the immobiliser and engine ecu are paired, I'd say this is not going to be a simple hi/lo, but some kind of data transfer.

Do you have access to the immobiliser ECU, if so, just connect it up with a valid transponder chip glued to the top of it ;)

the guy that took the engine out of the car forgot to take the immobiliser out !!! but i still have the car pass with the vin etc, anyone got an immobiliser and wires?

Immobiliser needs to be programmed to ecu.  Not sure if this is a 'once only' option, or can be done with 2nd hand parts  :-/

think its now sorted  :D

tried www.automotiveelectronics.co.uk AVOID AT ALL COSTS !!!! >:( Didnt even get to ask him owt cos i changed engine and told me to f"£k off to vauxhall  ::)

all-car in alfreston derby  :y top guys, can flash the ecu so no nags !!!
