good morning everyone, hope you clever guys and girls can help me.
posted a topic in the general help section but think it's more electrical so this is is what I posted http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1226104047 does anyone have any ideas whats going on or what I can do? the radio is perfectly just no display and without the display I can't get the cd autochanger to work

Assuming correct display, can only suggest to remove and unplug the radio, leave out for two hours to discharge fully, refit, making sure that connections are good at the rear (offten a cause of fault) and then see if it asks for the code and if it has also reset itself?

right, done that, had to put the code back in to listen to the radio but nothing on the displayis this a major problem or just a loose connection somewhere? thanks

Did you leave it out overnight, as Dave DND says, this can help reset this particular unit?

Failing that, gonna have to try chopping and changing, if somebody near you is prepared to let you borrow their ones.  I have a ccrt700 and display if ever you get up my way, so we can test each to find where fault lies.

did a bit of research about the ccrt700 and if you press and hold the AS button whilst pushing the on button it'll beep, thats the prompt to enter the code, press and hold the AS button again till it beeps, press the radio button = music TheBoy, thanks for the offer, I'm in birmingham this weekend visiting a friend, I hope it's a simple problem but knowing my luck it won't be!!!!!
