Never used one, but have seen similar advertised before. Certainly better looking than a row of bullet holes in the rear bumper.  ;)

Got some still in garage. Did'nt cost that much only about £25.00

Did connect  to battery - seem to only work while moving ?

Similar to these on E-bay - 180309703145

My sceptisism may be preceeding me, but does this look dodgy to anyone else? Electromagnet technology to detect non ferrous material?

Using Electromagnetic Technology, the PD1 REAR parking sensor will scan the full length of your bumper, from end to end picking up all objects behind your vehicle. The PD1 REAR detects children, people, adults the elderly plus cars, vehicles, small kerbs, walls, barriers, pillars, posts, skips, etc. Whatever is behind you can rest assured the PD1 REAR will detect this object and alert you to its presence allowing you to react, with time to spare.

Since when do Electromagnets detect humen beings ??? bah humbug comes to mind .....    >:( >:( >:(
