drivers electric window problem
« on: 28 February 2009, 20:21:40 »

Changed the window switch unit on Glens facelift omega, old unit would randomly lower window when you pulled switch up to close it.

I got a switch unit off mutantcav, tried it and now you have to repeatedly press the button to get the window to go down and up, If you hold the switch in either position the window moved half an inch then stops until you press the switch again.

the other 3 windows work fine.

is this another faulty switch unit or is the regulator iffy?

thanks

Have you tried resetting the window??

Fully close it, then hold the switch in "Close" position till you hear a click??

Other than that, I'd guess either another faulty switch, or regulator like you say  :-/
