Bit of a weird one this - not a biggie, just thought i'd post it to see if anyone else has seen this.

My 2.6 elite has a Bose CCR2006 with the usual assortment of subs, amp and speakers, and an MID (I think) display.

On startup the display shows 'OSE' instead of 'BOSE' - The pixels aren't duff because after startup that section of the panel works fine when showing other data (i.e radio stations, etc).

Am I right in assuming my MID has a hiccup on startup?

Didnt I see on another thread that the Bose message was programmed to do that...ptresumably Tech2?? Maybe the technician couldnt spell?

Well, the extra specially strange bit is that it used to say BOSE, but at some point (i think after I disconnected the battery when I was doing my cambelt and cam cover gaskets) it started showing OSE instead.

Not really that bothered - it just looks a bit strange when it starts up. Maybe I'll get it Tech2'd at the next meet.

I've looked there - unless I've hoovered it up, I'll never find it. Do you have one in orange that I could have?

Guilty as charged, your honour. I cannot tell a lie, I listen to Radio 1 until my brain starts to leak out of my ears, then I switch to Radio 4. (Or a CD).
