Right Dave. I'll probably make use of the Search TAB then to find the other thread.  ;) :D :y

In any case, you won't believe it!  :D

I did what killerwatt told me to do, and hey, presto! my copies work FLAWLESSLY! Damn! i could not believe it.

Anyway Dave, do you know of any stereo I can straight swap a CCRT 2008 for (obviously, i want one which plays CDRs and with which i can keep the use of the MID and steering controls)
Most quality stereos have adpaters for display and steering wheel controls, but little room behind dash for them.  Also, your stereo uses an odd screen, not sure any adapters available for that.

As frequently said above, good media with a good burn **may** reduce the damage done to laser...

Not aware of a display adaptor for that one - but steering controls should not prove a problem.

As far as recording a diferent way - its still a non compatable CDR at the end of the day, and its wearing your laser out as fast as you are listening to it. Just because it plays, doesn`t mean it is happy.

Gawd! I think i'll spare the laser then and use my Samsung T10 MP3 player! Anyway, I need a quality FM transmitter. I saw one on your website IF i am not wrong Dave. What's the price for these? and can you ship to Bahrain? I'll pay postage, no problem  :y

Hi,

I think you mean this one

http://www.dndservices.co.uk/am-88t.html

More than happy to ship to a Bahrain Oofer, (not sure if its an option on the website - will check) but if the address comes up as an error with postage when you try to order it, contact me via the website and I`ll sort it out for you.

Hi Dave,

that's exactly the one I was talking about. Anyway, I tried placing an order on the website and it comes with an error. See PM for details.

You have a PM Dave

Thanks

The FM transmitter you linked to mate.
The specs are abysmal to be honest, and even Maplin (who everybody knows are overpriced to start with) will do a better one (spec & feature wise) for half the price of the one you linked to.

Not quite sure which specs you are refferring to - we`ve certainly never had any issues with them, neither have the oofers we have sold to, but at the end of the day, people are free to purchase what they want and from wherever they want.

I`m not getting into any arguments about it, too busy selling my modulators
