Anyone know of a after market aerial that can be used or is it only the OEM aerials that work ?

yup. As said, you can't use the cage, as it won't clip in the hole at the back

Hi, I got one for my facelift mig which works fine. It has a right angle connector - so works with current cage (only requiring a small change to have some play with the cable when putting the unit back in place). Price looks ok, mine was 12quid. Regards
