Lock Problem

Hi Folks,Just wondered if anyone can help me with this problem please ? If I use the remote to unlock my car the drivers door activates then locks again,leaving the other doors open,If I use the key it works fine,Can anybody throw any light on this.

Initial thought is faulty motor (specifically the switches in it)

Agree, I`d go for the door solenoid first
