Hi,Problem with the remote central locking,it,s not working.
The key fobs lightings the red light up when pressed,but nothing happening elsewhere on the locks.
Is there a reset system,or is there something else that should be looked at.
No previous problems with this,the fob batteries were replaced 6 months ago.

Try re-sync'ing your fob, ignition on, press lock, doors will lock then unlock. Key now re-sync'd. It could be thatthe battery holder is loose & the battery is breaking contact with the pcb  :-/

Hi Andy,tried the suggested resyn, nothing happens.
What baffles me is,after locking the car by key,when I unlock it by key the alarm is activated(siren disconnected).
Grateful for any further suggestions.

Have these fobs ever worked or is this a recent thing?

Hi,everything ok until yesterday.

[alfie]

Replaced the fob batteries today,still no joy.
Noticed that the fob light flashes once when pressing to open,and flashes constantly when presses to lock.Is that how it should function.

Ps little probs like this drive me bloodly silly.

Not on mine ..only flashes as pressed ... I wonder if your fob needs the "Martin Imber" treatment .. as it sounds like a switch might be stuck...  might be worth giving him a PM ..

Radio now not working screen showing CODE,date now showing 1/1/97.
The only thing that I have checked is the fuse F20 all ok there.

Radio now working,but still can,t get the remote locking to operate from the fob.
