Yellow indicator bulbs..?

...yes, my local Vx dealer said they need changing as they have lost their colour and are showing white - can't i just give them a squirt of yellow paint?  will this do or are they "special".    :-/

make sure you get the correct lamps, some have offset pins some don't - you want the lamps without  :y :y

Sorted - Halfords HBU581 £4.79 a pair fitted perfectly, non-offset pins - they are amber in colour, though their chart was wrong, they said these are for the front but are for the rear, the front ones should be clear.  ;)

wow!!! would not pay that much, even chepo one's last the same amout of use. are they gold plated ones??

i popped into to "Halfrauds" in my lunch break, no wonder all their branches are conveniently place in shopping centres, i was shocked at the price but Vx dealer is much further away, but won't be buying lamps from there in future  :-?

actually these were the cheapo version, the  "heavy duty" ones were over six pounds....

...should i be writing to my MP or "Watchdog" ?   ::)

Think my local motor factors charged 50p, but that was a few years back.. they are working
intermittently!
