dash display
« on: 02 June 2010, 13:42:58 »

I'm thinking of putting the same display in my 3.2 Ex-plod as the wife had in her elite (the one with tripcomp on it). How do i do this. I know I will have to have the other type lever (wipers) as mine has not got the other buttons on it as it's only the basic type. I surpose I would have to have it on Tec2 again. Is this correct or is there more to it. Thanks for any help.

Think what your saying is you want to slap a MID into your ex-plod, which I'm guessing will just have the Radio and Clock at the moment?, problem is, the your 3.2 probably wont have all the Check Sensors (unless your lucky) so although the Mid will probably work on most functions, it will drive you mad will all the 'Checks' that it starts throwing up.

Possible to retrofit for fuel computer functions, but most of the sensors are missing, so you may have to retrofit those....
