Radio codes

Hi guys, i seem to have forgotten how to reprogramme the radio/cd codes in my car... long story but had car for year or so now and radio always worked(and still does) got cd pass codefrom Vaux, other day and cannot remember how to enter the code.. i remember having to do some form of sequence with the ignition, tho thats about it lol...
any help would be much appreciated
