Elite CD changer cartridge stuck
« on: 04 September 2010, 12:06:00 »

I have a minifacelift Elite with the six CD changer separate Blaupunkt in the boot.

For a long time we haven't used it but I tried a new CD  in it and it worked. Bliss.

Short lived. It is stuck. Er Cd on the Mid. I can hear the machine in the boot trying to eject the cartridge but the holder doesn't come out.

Any suggestions please? Can you manually eject? Is the problem dust? We have it in bucketfuls here!

Not uncommon for the discs or leaves of teh magazine to partially come out of the cartridge, thus preventing the magazine from ejecting.

Quite easy to spot and rectify if you lift the top cover off the changer - if all looks ok, then may be a little more serious
