The analogue radio switch off
« on: 02 October 2010, 10:33:29 »

I understand that in the not too distant future I'll lose my good old radio 2 from my ncdc 2013!! This will be intolerable especially for swmbo, will there be an alternative option say a conversion module that will allow existing radios to function even for one band only? Or is it going to be the usual Too Bad for you situation?

I suspect someone will do a DAB to FM modulator when the time comes

Haven't tried it but there are over 200 user reviews on amazon.co.uk - search for "pure horizon dab".

The general picture seems to be pretty good except that it uses up the fag lighter socket  ::) and some folk have trouble setting up the ariel.
